Ce.Ri.Col. boasts a wide range of collaborations with research institutes and with production enterprises in different sectors (ceramic, glass, paints). However, given the specific nature of the products, Ce.Ri.Col. proposes itself  as a partner for joint developments by offering its own staff for  research activities for customised modifications to the products, for consultancy on application systems and as a partner for outsourcing productions.

In parallel to the study for the synthesis of new products and their modifications, expertise in technical assistance has gained as to application of products and formulation of mixtures suitable for specific applications, developed for specific requests.

The laboratory is especially able to support the clients during the application development of nanoparticles on different supports and through various techniques. For example, it has created formulations containing nanoparticles applicable by airbrush (to simulate spray application on line, like for the glass or ceramics industry), for screen printing (by selecting the vehicle), for dip coating and also for ink-jet applications.

Cutting-edge instruments such as electronic microscopy and atomic force microscopy, in addition to other surface research techniques, allow the Analysis laboratory, to assess the accuracy of the applications and their effectiveness.
