The Ce.Ri.Col.'s Analysis Laboratory avails itself of cutting-edge instruments for material analysis; in particular, it has over twenty years experience in the field of morphological and chemical surveys of defects by using a FEG-STEM-EDS microscope.

Due to the potentiality of this instrumentation, morphological investigations can be carried out on nanoparticles through transmission.
Ce.Ri.Col. also makes use of instruments especially conceived for the analysis of nanoparticle sizes (Dynamic Light Scattering) and of the morphology of applications on different surfaces (atomic force microscope). It also use a Photoreactor, developed by the Laboratory researchers to analyse the photocatalytic activity of functionalised surfaces.
